Exactly 363 days ago, I shared a promo about BufferZone Pro v3.21-41. There you were able to get that old release and here you will get a brand new Windows 7 x86 compatible BufferZone Pro v3.41.

Many of you already know about sandbox tech or virtual wall created by some software for PC security like SandBoxie, Comodo Sandbox, etc. BufferZone does the same. It creates a virtual wall surrounding the running software, installing package and/or any process inside your computer. This means whatever that virtulized (running inside BufferZone) software will do is just a temporary effect. You terminate that program and effects are over. Sometime you may need to restart your system but, do not worry, system is safe. They say:

BufferZone patented “Threat Virtualization” technology creates an isolated environment called the Virtual Zone. The Virtual Zone “buffers” your PC from all forms of known or unknown attacks that originate from the Internet and external devices. All of your private information is secured in a trusted and separated environment.
With BufferZone, all programs or files that enter your computer through downloading, browsing or uploading with external media devices are redirected to a Virtual Zone (C:Virtual). C:Virtual is a special directory in your computer’s registry that keeps external programs and files in an isolated environment, separated from your trusted personal files and your PC‘s operating system.
All files, personal information, drivers and system resources remain invisible to threats and therefore protected from costly or irreversible damage. Viruses, bots, worms, Trojan Horses, phishing, keyloggers, spyware and other malicious code are prevented from covertly installing on your PC.
Modifications from infected programs, files or problematic websites will run only inside C:Virtual. Inside the Virtual Zone, infections are easily contained and changes can be reversed. The Virtual Zone keeps your computer and trusted files clean and safe.
For example: a virus or spyware running in the BufferZone virtual environment can never ‘write’, manipulate or damage your files, nor can it ‘read’ your private ‘My Documents’ folder. When it tries to do so, it is actually being fooled by BufferZone into ‘writing’ somewhere else on your hard-disk.
More than that, your personal and private information stay in a trusted environment making it impossible for spyware, keyloggers, botnets or any other Internet born malware from stealing your personal data and documents.
Sensitive areas or information on your PC that BufferZone Pro keeps separated from threats:
· E-banking and e-shopping: Both BufferZone Free and BufferZone Pro let you browse trusted Web sites (Privacy Zone) such as e-banking and e-shopping inside a trusted environment.
· My Documents” folder: BufferZone Pro hides and (visually) “locks” your private files and directories.
BufferZone unique technology automatically neutralizes known and even unknown Malware, meaning there is no need whatsoever for any signature updates.

You download BufferZone Pro from their official web-site and install it. You do not need any license or registration key.

BufferZone for 64bit Operating System is planned for the first half of 2011.
With new PCs coming preloaded with Windows 7 x64, and many people having gone 64 bit from XP Pro x64 and Vista x64, it looks like a lot of us are left out of this one.

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
