Free Qihoo 360 Security Uses Bitdefender & Avira Antivirus Engines [Android-Mac-Windows]
Qihoo 360 Internet Security has scored 99.2 in AV-Comparatives Real-World Protection Test from March to June 2014. Other security software which could go over 99 were Avira, Bitdefender, Emsisoft, etc., etc. All Qihoo 360 security software uses Bitdefender and Avira Antivirus engines to protect your computer and android devices. We have seen that free security software are always competing giants and many times knock them out, so did Qihoo 360 in latest AV-Comparatives Antivirus tests.
Now you see in the chart, you will find that big names, who charges big fortune, are falling behind, for example, BullGuard, eScan, ESET, F-Secure, McAfee, Sophos and Trend Micro. Qihoo 360 success should be a shame for these big names. For home users, we get different free security software like Avast AV, Avira AV, AVG AV and Bitdefender AV. If one is not good, get the other one and these are totally free. But for enterprise security, they cannot do like this. They spend millions to secure their network. Look in the chart and see that famous enterprise security software vendors like Trend Micro scores 94.9 and McAfee scores 97.9. Norton is not here or they may also have the same fate as McAfee and Trend Micro. Enterprises need to contact Qihoo 360 for better security.
Qihoo 360 is a big name in China security industry and it has over 400 million users. It provides security for home users as well as enterprises and all of its security software are free.
Today, I installed Qihoo 360 Total Security on one virtual machine running Windows 8.1 Pro. System resources consumption is almost zero (0). It only put burden on your PC when there are updates or times or on demand scan is going on. Look in the pic below when Qihoo is just watching and protecting your system silently. The Qihoo 360 Total Security interface is smooth and easy to access. Color scheme is great with proper intensity of colors.
