It was long rumored that Apple is going to announce iWatch type something new. It will happen now, no, it will happen then. When? It will happen but who knows when. It happens or not, Android powered watch has happened. Sony announced SmartWatch 2.
Technology world is moving fast. The future is for wearable smart devices. Now they are doubted that wearable smart devices may not succeed. But the story is something else. Look at Google Glass and Sony SmartWatch, these are first steps to change the communication world. It will take time but future is for wearable smart devices.
Sony SmartWatch 2 is more than just a wrist watch. It connects to your smartphone and let you do a lot which you can do on your smartphone like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, email reading, RSS reading, call log, missed call notification, SMS, MMS and some other things. You can also use Google Play to download apps for your Sony SmartWatch 2.
Price has to be confirmed, yet. Sony SmartWatch is compatible with Android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and later releases. Battery life is said to be around 7 days with light use and around 3 to 4 days for normal use.
Sony SmartWatch 2 screen size is 1.6-inches with 220 x 176 pixels. It is equipped with NFC which makes easy to pair it with your smartphone. Aluminum body and stainless steel wristband distinguishes it from other Android powered watches. (There are other android powered watches which you can find through Google). It is not fully waterproof.
