Goodbye Steve Jobs

Apple’s ex CEO and Chairman Board of Directors has passed away. Few hours back, when I heard it, it was a big shock for me. This is not that I liked that man or he was goal for me. Simply, Steve has had vision of tomorrow. He know when to strike and when to loose. He knew how to create new trends and how to change famous trends. The most impressive thing was his commitment; the commitment which he fulfilled till his death. There might be better than him in the world to take his place. New impressive, life changing ideas and things will always be but Steve will not be. Goodbye Steve, may rest in peace.

Apple’s home webpage has Steve’s photo (shown above). Apple.com also has a page named to Steve Here. People can send eMail given on that page to show share their feelings and memories.

We are grateful for the support and kindness of those who share our feelings for Steve. We know many of you will mourn with us, and we ask that you respect our privacy during our time of grief.

Tim Cook’s email to Apple employees

I have some very sad news to share with all of you. Steve passed away earlier today.

Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing
human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.

We are planning a celebration of Steve’s extraordinary life for Apple employees that will take place soon. If you would like to share your thoughts, memories and condolences in the interim, you can simply email rememberingsteve@apple.com.

No words can adequately express our sadness at Steve’s death or our gratitude for the opportunity to work with him. We will honor his memory by dedicating ourselves to continuing the work he loved so much.

Still I am unable to digest the fact that Steve is not with us any more. But, he will be remembered forever as a visionary! May be our children will learn about him through Text books, like how we learnt about great people like Einstein…

hmmm… text books have become old. Everyone is using notebooks and laptops 😛

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
