New interactive graphical display, which provides an overview of the entire hard disk. Free as well as used space, as well as the size of the individual partitions are displayed.

Additional compression types(BZIP2)

Besides the LZNT1 compression, it is now also possible to use a BZIP2 compression on the image.

Handling of virtual hard disks(VHD)

To facilitate the work with Microsoft Virtual PCs (VPC), you can now convert images to virtual drives (VHD). The converted image can be included as a virtual drive in the VPC, without having to install O&O DiskImage there. Also, images (OMG) can be created from virtual drives (VHD) of the VPCs, or can be restored directly.

Advanced Burn Function

O&O DiskImage 4 now also supports Blu-Ray Disks und HD/DVD´s.

Change Computer Identity

With O&O DiskImage you can change the identity of your computer to avoid authentication problems, if the same computer identity already exists in the network. This might be helpful when creating several system images in a network.

TrayIcon

The new TrayIcon monitors the service status and informs you on the active program functions. In that way, it can be avoided that you cancel a running job of O&O DiskImage, which is operating in the background.

Advanced Validation

While checking the image a checksum comparison also takes place.
