Today, software market is full of so called securely data deletion tools for PC. But do these tools really work? Not all of them work as advertised. There are some tools available which work perfectly to delete the data securely. Ascomp Secure Eraser Professional is one of them.

I did not try to recover those files so I do not know if the files were recoverable or not. But, at least, I know the names of the files which I tried to remove securely and permanently from my system. Technically, the names of the files should also not be recoverable by any means. One more thing I must mention about Ascomp Secure Eraser Professional vs Ascomp Secure Eraser Free. There is no difference in features between both releases. But the free one has nagging popups appear every time you uses Ascomp Secure Eraser Free. Also you cannot use free version for professional use. It is free only for personal use.
