Yesterday, Avast released its new upcoming computer security software as public beta. These security software includes famous Avast Antivirus Free 7, Avast Antivirus Pro 7 and Avast Internet Security 7. Avast team has already introduced advanced security features and functions in its free Avast Antivirus. You do not find such advanced security features in any other free Antivirus. And now with new Avast Antivirus Free beta is introducing more features and security with extra blend of beautiful interface. If you have read Antivirus Test Results, you will see that Avast was 2nd to Avira for protection but first on [...Continue Reading...]
One more month is passed. There are two views about time passing. One says that we lived one more month, the other says one month is wiped from our life time. Well, no discussion about it. If you are new here, for your information that we have started this Monthly RoundUp to tell you about all the articles published during the very last month. This is a good way to tell you what you have missed if you have. This is also some sort of warning for us what we need to do more. Previously, during many months, [...Continue Reading...]
Mozilla team did not take too long to release an upgraded version of Mozilla Firefox. In fact, they have followed an interval of 5 to 6 weeks between two upgrades as we see previous 5 upgrades. The previous version was 9, so the present is 10. Mozilla has not started the upgrade delivery through official channel but this final Mozilla Firefox 10 is available on their servers. At the moment, you can not get this upgrade from Firefox internal update system, too. You need to download Mozilla Firefox 10 from the given download links below. But if you [...Continue Reading...]
This time silently and surprisingly Mozilla released the latest Firefox 7 which is officially available to download for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. At least for me it was bit surprised release because these days I keep track of Firefox releases and try to get inform about final version prior the announcement date. It does not matter. The matter is if you are using Mozilla Firefox 6, you should update to Firefox 7 with no interval. This new release has great improvements in speed, memory usage and it now contains 2D graphic component Azure instead of old [...Continue Reading...]
Update 1 (27.09.2011): Read update 1 at the end of article. Howdy? Surprised at the article’s heading? Just yesterday I was writing about a promo of Norman Security Suite 8 and now I am writing about Norman Security Suite 9. Yes, you should surprise. Do not worry, I will not keep you surprised for long time. Before, getting you out from shock, I want to say a few words; words about people behavior. After having said these words, I will de-surprise you.
When yesterday I wrote about Norman Security Suite promo, I was the first to [...Continue Reading...]
Update: Norman Security Suite 9 CLICK HERE to read updated article. People like me, who are used to use free security software like Avast, Avira, AVG, Comodo Firewall, Emsisoft Firewall, Outpost Firewall, ZoneAlarm Firewall, Malwarebyte’s AntiMalware, Emsisoft AntiMalware, and Mamutu AntiMalware, may not consider Norman Security Suite to use. The reason is its low-grade low-rate-detection. During last decade, Norman has lost its top rated security software position to new babies which are now too strong to defeat. It was not the case with Norman in 1990s. Norman was considered a top-rated security software at that time. Norton was [...Continue Reading...]
Windows 7 (8) was a great success for Microsoft after the greatest failure of Windows Vista. Oh, Vista was horrible. I do not wanna remember those days when I used Vista for few days and quickly escaped back to Windows XP. Never mind. You may have read that Microsoft has just now launched Windows 8 Developer Preview (x86-x64). Developer Preview always come before beta release, so, if you are thinking to install it for regular use, do not do it. It is highly unstable release.
If I remember, this is first time I have installed any [...Continue Reading...]
