New Samsung Galaxy Note Edge With Curved Edge Display
In fact, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 announcement was normal because since long time, we already knew that unveiling event for Note 4 is coming. Well, the event came and gone with not much impressed feeling but one thing: Galaxy Note 4 Edge. This was really something new with curved display on one edge; the famous Samsung display prototype became the display of a new smartphone. With the announcement of Note Edge, Samsung announced a new series in Note Series. Just wondering, how many arrows are still left?
If you see the event, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge was what audience liked though Samsung presenters were most relying on Note 4 and Gear VR. Simply something different from tradition, appealing and practical will be appreciated. I just wonder if this has been announced by fruit company, people might have jumped from their seats. Well, they didn’t.
The edgy curved display of Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is totally independent from the main display as you can see in the above picture. Both displays (in fact this is one display with virtual division) are Quad HD Plus Super AMOLED. The Edge display is customizable separately. You can customize if with 7 different panels. You use these panels for shortcuts of different apps and utilities. If you watching video or using camera, all the the buttons and commands will be displayed on the curved edge screen make more room available for the contents on the main screen.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is little bit smaller than Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Its screen size is 5.6-inches. The resolution is 1600 x 2560 pixels. The resolution is higher than Note 4 but screen size is smaller. The screen is made of rock hard Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The RAM is 3 GB like Note 4. It will also have two different processors: Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 and Octa-Core Exynos 5433. Both processors are 64-bit. It is also equipped with S-Pen. There is not much difference between Note Edge and Note 4 except the curved edge of Note Edge.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge will be available in only limited markets. So, not everybody will be blessed. They will make it sure that innovation should not spread by copy.
