Mozilla Firefox 8 Final Download With Twitter For Windows, Linux and Mac OS X

Mozilla could hardly wait a bit over one month to release the new and final Firefox 8. BTW, it is also very difficult for Google to pass one month without releasing a major version number change. But in this war of updates and upgrades, there is always something missing, some important feature missing or not working properly. Opera and Internet Explorer are keeping them out of this race. I should say, Safari is also sitting away.

I do not know about other users but I have had very nasty experience using Mozilla Firefox 7 and Comodo Firewall. The problem which I faced, neither could I find the solution nor there was help on any forum. Hopefully, this problem may not exist anymore in Firefox 8. The problem was whenever Comodo Firewall is auto updating itself, Firefox stopped responding if there is any flash video running in the browser or buffering. The only solution was you must decide what you want: firewall updates or flash video. To make Firefox 7 responsive, kill the update process or do a double mouse click on update icon in the system tray, a dialogue will open asking to update the firewall or not, do update it. OK, the update icon is not gone, yet. Again double mouse click on update icon and same process which you did after first time double mouse click on update icon.

I have just installed Mozilla Firefox 8 and, in fact, I am writing this article using Firefox 8. So far, there is no crash and hopefully frequent crashes should be lessened now. After installation, Firefox checks the add-ons and divide them into two groups; one group contains the add-ons which you have installed by yourself like Adblock Plus, KeyScrambler, Download Helper, etc. The other group contains third party add-ons installed with other software like Realplayer plugin, DivX Web Player plugin, etc. By default it also disables the incompatible add-ons.

Firefox 8 has one new search engine called Twitter search. Now you can search all published tweets. People, who just can not live without tweeting, now have great tool to search tweets. When you will search in Firefox using Twitter search facility, the resulting page will open on Twitter interface in the traditional layout.
