Almost one and half month ago, Agnitum started a total new type of giveaway. Let me say, it was license exchange giveaway. This giveaway is still valid and you are able to claim a license of maximum two year duration. You have valid security software license with your name of any 21 vendors, just head to Agnitum giveaway page, give your name, eMail, vendor and upload a photo of your security software showing the license with your name and eMail, wait one or two days and you will get your license. Agnitum team is so generous that they offered the license to those who even have only one day left from other security software. Well, it is not good what I did but before writing, I must check the offer and I got 2 years valid license in exchange of Avast AntiVirus. I have saved that license in case if I need to use it later.
The security software vendors whose license you can exchange with Outpost Security Suite Pro 7.5 are Avast, AVG, Avira, BitDefender, BullGuard, CA, Comodo, Eset, F-Secure, GData, Kaspersky, Lavasoft, McAfee, Norton (Symantec), Panda, PC Tools, Sophos, Sunbelt (GFI), Trend Micro, WebRoot, ZoneAlarm. I think, you can use Norton AntiVirus 2012 promo license from HERE to get your free one year license of Outpost Security Suite Pro 7.5. Just few days back, I shared this Norton AntiVirus 2012 promo. The license can be traded from United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Ireland, Australia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Luxemburg, Japan, and the Republic of South Africa. Truly, I got my license from the country which is not in the list but I got. It seems, Agnitum team is not very strict in this rule.
Outpost Firewall is the best firewall. I have personally used it. With default settings the firewall hid all my ports. I try to find open port and there was none. I, even, did not get any response from my computer. This means, if some hacker knew your IP but you are using Outpost Firewall, hacker can never intrude into your computer. My most liked feature of Outpost Firewall is IP blocking. You can feed different suspected IPs and it will simply block all data to and from that IP. You google IP block list, it will be text file or data file, download it. Open Outpost Firewall window, go to Settings -> Firewall -> IP Block List. Here you can insert the whole list of IPs to block. That list has thousands of IPs which should not monitor you.
I have had one very bad experience with Outpost AntiVirus integrated into Outpost Security Suite Pro 7.5. I am used to use Emsisoft AntiMalware along with my regular AntiVirus. When I used Emsisoft AntiMalware with Outpost Security Suite Pro 7.5, Outpost AntiVirus was disabled. I try to play around to enable it by changing settings of both AntiMalwares but Outpost AntiVirus could never be enabled. If Agnitum team reads it, they should find the solution. Agnitum AntiVirus has passed Virus Bulletin latest test which you can see just below of this text.
Natalia Solovyeva, PR Manager at Agnitum, contacted me and told me that the offer of Exchange Free License of Outpost Security Suite Pro 7.5 is ending on September 30, 2011. If your current security software license is expiring soon, you must get your free license. Remember, it is free license which you will get just by exchange. The exchanged license will be working till its last breath. Then you can use Outpost Security Suite Pro 7.5. Thousands have taken advantage of this offer.
Under the program, Outpost Security Suite Pro is provided free of charge for one or two years depending on the remaining term of the competitive license and includes free updates, upgrades and technical support.
